Optical Design Engineer – Focus on camera modules - DK/SE/CH
Location: Horgen, Switzerland; Stockholm, Sweden; Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark depending on candidate
NIL Technology is a leading manufacturer of micro-and nanostructured optical components and systems.
We’re on the lookout for an Optical Design Engineer with a keen eye for innovation and the drive for defining the future of camera and optical sensing technologies. At NIL Technology, you’ll be diving into the world of wafer-level optics, playing a pivotal role in defining the system architectures for our cutting-edge camera and projection modules and supporting customer dialogues.
You’ll be tasked with designing not only camera modules, but also a variety of optical devices such as dot projectors and diffuser modules. Your expertise will steer these projects from their inception to completion, guaranteeing that the optical design meets the ever-increasing requirements from the market. An important part of the job is to support customer dialogues by customizing existing concepts, providing data, and delivering customer-facing presentations including relevant technical descriptions and data.
You’ll be a major bridge between our module R&D and customer solutions. Thus, extensive experience in optical design, design for manufacturing, practical implementation, module integration, customer needs, and customer dialogue is a must.
You will be part of a company that offers a fast-moving and busy work environment, where all opinions are valued together. We have a strong team spirit and a profound “we win, and we lose together” attitude which we value and culture. Read more at www.nilt.com/join-us.
